Ismail is a Reservoir Engineer with over 40 years industry experience in Reservoir Engineering covering different aspects of oil and gas Field development, including Conventional and Unconventional reservoirs in Onshore and Offshore operating environments. Ismail’s experience covers different geographical regions including Middle East-UAE (with ADCO, Abu Dhabi), USA-Houston (with ExxonEPR), New Zealand (with Shell -STOS), Shell –Asia Pacific region (Malaysia), and Australia- Cooper basin. Before joining Baker Hughes International in 2014, Ismail Worked for Shell International in New Zealand as Shell Well & Reservoir Management Leader for Asia Pacific region, he also worked as the chief reservoir engineer for DrillSearch energy – Australia.
Ismail’s has an extensive Reservoir Engineering background covering; Conventional field development and reservoir management, Unconventional -Tight and Shale gas, Heavy Oil development, Hydraulic Fracturing stimulation, Well and reservoir management (WRM), Reservoir engineering and modelling, Field Development planning FDP, Black oil and compositional simulation, Well testing, Subsurface uncertainties analysis, Hydrocarbon maturation HCM, Gas-condensate reservoirs development, Mature oil fields re-development, Water flooding, Enhanced and Improved oil recovery (EOR/IOR), Gas injection and Production Optimisation.
