Head of the Laboratory of Refinery
Aleš Vráblík is a graduate of Charles University in Prague (BSc. – 2008) and Czech University of Life Science in Prague (MSc. – 2011). Aleš is working as a researcher in the Unipetrol Centre for Research and Education (UniCRE) since 2013 and as a Head of the Laboratory of Refinery since 2016. Its main activities include leading of the projects (research as well as commercial) focused especially on application research and leadership of BSc. or MSc. students.
Fields of interest include fuel oils (especially marine fuels stability, Global Sulphur Cap 2020 and heavy residues processing), fuel quality (especially additivation of diesel fuel and production of biofuels) and catalysts (especially catalysts testing using pilot plant, catalysts activity and deactivation).
Aleš is author or co-author of two patents, more than ten utility models and more than ten impacted publications.
